Slave Island and Galle Face are being taken over by large scale development projects with New Capital descending on old properties. Old residents are being marginalised and displaced at a rate proportionate to this development.
How does one assess the extent of the tangle of socio-political crisis and the unfathomable emotions of the thousands of people whose lives and homes are being torn apart because of the intervention of super capitalistic development?
