Chamila Gamage is a contemporary artist and sculpture based in Sri Lanka, with a strong foundation in various mediums including Painting, Drawing, Sculpting, Set design and Batik art. His creative journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2010 from the University of Visual and Performing Arts Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In 2019 he completed his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, where he further expanded his understanding of contemporary art and sculpture. His artist vision is deeply rooted in interpreting the contemporary social and political scene, utilizing the creativity of modern society as a means of expression. He believes that art serves as a powerful tool for commentary and reflection on the world around us.
