Channa Ekanayake, after his Bio-Science academic background, started to learn painting as a subject from a well known Croatian painter Dora Tomulic from 1995- 2001.
He enjoys working in different mediums such as gouache, egg tempera, soft pastel, oil, acrylic and often mix them to achieve the particular textures.
Channa has participated many national and international exhibitions for more than 20 years and his work display in many foreign private galleries. With Barefoot Gallery Channa had two solo exhibitions and few group shows too.
