“Through my practice, I navigate the possibilities and limitations, the affinities and tensions between art and craft. Like the pendulum of a clock, my work moves between these two realms—seeking balance, resonance, and rhythm. The dialogues, exchanges, and encounters that unfold within and between art and craft—on both individual and collective planes—draw me toward the idea of duality. This duality is not a division, but a dynamic interplay that animates my creative process.
Both mediums cultivate self-discipline and social responsibility. They teach me to listen—to materials, to histories, to communities—and to respond with care. In this movement between making and meaning, tradition and experimentation, I find a space where boundaries dissolve and new forms of understanding emerge”.
